McGinnis Lochridge is pleased to welcome Daniel C. Clemons as Of Counsel in the firm’s Corporate and Tax Practice Group in Austin. He brings a remarkable mix of financial and legal experience to his new role, having previously served in legal roles as outside counsel, in-house counsel and head of legal operations, and as a revenue analyst. At McGinnis Lochridge, Clemons will focus his practice on outside general counsel representation, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing and other commercial transactions. Before joining the firm, Dan served as Vice President and Head of Legal Operations for Dimensional Fund Advisors in Austin.

Clemons earned his J.D. with honors from The University of Texas School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the Texas Law Review and Managing Technical Editor of the Texas Review of Entertainment & Sports Law. He received his B.S. with highest distinction from Purdue University.
