On Thursday, May 2 Bruce Kramer will discuss “Current Developments in Oil and Gas Law” as part of the Texas Tech Law School Roswell CLE program, being held in Roswell, N.M. that day.
Bruce is Of Counsel in the firm’s Oil & Gas/Energy Litigation Practice Group and Professor Emeritus at Texas Tech Law School. He began his academic career at the University as an Assistant Professor in 1974. He became a full Professor in 1979 and served as the Maddox Professor there from 1992-2007.
Several books co-authored by Bruce have become the cornerstone references for energy lawyers, including two multi-volume treatises, The Law of Pooling and Unitization, and Williams and Meyers Oil and Gas Law (since 1996). Many of his legal articles have been cited as authority in numerous court rulings and appellate opinions, including decisions of the Supreme Court of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and numerous Federal District Courts.
