McGinnis Lochridge is pleased to announce that the firm has elected Emily Franco to the partnership, effective January 1, 2024.

Franco is a member of the firm’s Wealth Preservation and Estate Planning practice group. Her practice focuses on advising clients on the full range of estate planning and probate issues, including wills, trusts and powers of attorney.

“We are thrilled to welcome Emily to the partnership as she is a valued member of our wealth preservation team, ” said Doug Dodds, the firm’s managing partner. “She is dedicated to providing impeccable service and value to our clients, and we look forward to her future contributions to the firm.”

Franco is active in local Austin legal associations, including the Estate and Planning Council of Central Texas and the Travis County Women Lawyers Association.

“Emily is a true asset to our practice group and this is a well-deserved promotion,” said Doug Paul, the firm’s Wealth Preservation and Estate Planning practice group leader. “She has a deep understanding of the nuances of wealth management law that she leverages every day for our clients. Franco earned her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Rice University.
