McGinnis Lochridge is pleased to announce that the firm has elected three attorneys to partner – Alison Lenner, Sophia Makris, and Will Grubb.
Alison’s practice focuses on negotiating and drafting estate planning documents including wills, management trusts, and powers of attorney. She also has experience drafting commercial real estate transactional documents, company agreements, and other various corporate organizational documents to serve a broad range of client needs. Alison is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Sophia’s legal practice focuses on a wide variety of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, financing, and commercial real estate matters. Additionally, she advises clients throughout their development, from entity formation and corporate governance to advising clients as outside corporate counsel. She is a member of the firm’s Women’s Initiative Committee and Diversity Committee, where she serves as liaison to the Austin Bar Association Diversity Fellowship Program.
William is a commercial litigator with experience representing clients in energy, oil and gas, and other industries. William has represented some of the world’s largest energy companies, both publicly traded and private, on complex litigation matters. William also has experience representing companies and individuals with business-related litigation including matters relating to trademarks, non-competition agreements, and financial transactions.
