Launched in Fort Worth in 2020, the program has now expanded to nearby cities and recognizes companies with supportive policies and practices for all employees, and particularly working parents.
The Best Place for Working Parents acknowledges that an entire local ecosystem impacts children – and provides tangible opportunities for various sectors to support a brighter future for them.
To receive a Best Place for Working Parents™ designation, companies go through an online self-assessment process that uses an evidence-based approach to evaluate their family-friendly policies. Each question in the self-assessment asks about specific policies that research has proven to positively impact employee attraction, retention, satisfaction and productivity.
McGinnis Lochridge has put in place family-friendly policies and practices that support working parents. They include: parental leave, flexible work schedules, and a lactation room.
