Position Summary: Join our dynamic team as a Marketing Coordinator, supporting the firm's marketing initiatives across multiple offices. This is a great opportunity to work closely with individual attorneys, practice groups, staff in various departments across the firm, and vendors while developing your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Under the supervision of the Marketing Manager, you'll play a key role in designing, maintaining and updating marketing materials, creating tracking and process documents, updating website content, drafting client alerts and invitations, assisting with ranking submissions, managing the firm’s holiday gift program, assisting with proposals and RFPs, handling sponsorship follow up needs, and coordinating high-level firm events.  This coordinator will be expected to have design experience with Adobe products and Canva and will lead our social media charge. They will come to understand the firm's practice areas, related industries, existing clients, and existing referral sources.  This list is not intended to be exhaustive of the assignments you may be given, so a willingness to be a team player and assist the department wherever necessary is critical.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Materials: Design, maintain and update firm marketing materials such as pop-up banners, one-pagers, brochures and giveaways ensuring consistency and alignment with the firm's brand guidelines, working closely with our vendor relationships to develop and execute timely and accurate production.
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and assist with the planning and execution of practice group and firm retreats, CLEs, webinars, sponsorship activities and high-profile client and referral source events.
  • Database Management: Own the firm's contact management for attorneys and practice groups alike, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records within the email management platform.
  • Tracking & Analysis: Track all firm marketing activity as instructed by the Marketing Manager.
  • Sponsorship & Charitable Activity: Manage follow ups and details as needed for various sponsorship and charitable activities.
  • Communications: Create and distribute client alerts, newsletters, and other firm communications while working directly with attorney points of contact.
  • Practice Group Support: Support the Marketing Manager on administrative needs such as registrations, coordinating meetings, designing invitations or ads, or assisting with pitch packets, proposals or RFPs.
  • Rankings & Directories: Draft, finalize and submit responses to ranking directories and surveys such as Chambers, Benchmark Litigation, etc.
  • Special Projects: Manage holiday gift program and any other projects deemed necessary by the Marketing Manager or Executive Director.
  • Social Media and Design: Key driver of the firm’s social media strategy and creation of posts to increase engagement, managing the firm’s LinkedIn, Facebook and X accounts.

  • Detail-Oriented: A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Self-starter, internally motivated and comfortable handling projects with minimal supervision.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively both independently and with others in an enthusiastic and friendly manner to accomplish position functions and department efforts.
  • Adaptability: A willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges. Flexibility to support diverse practice areas and projects.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with website maintenance, contact management systems, and tracking metrics using spreadsheets. Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing platforms, and design software such as Canva and the Adobe suite. Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and capable of producing quality written communications such as letters, spreadsheets, slide decks, and other standard work documents.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a marketing or business development role or a role focused on customer service or social media and design. Prior law firm experience is a plus.
