Overview
Curt is an experienced trial attorney working for defendants and plaintiffs in complex civil litigation. He has represented clients in a wide range of matters including oil and gas, business formation, contractual disputes, probate, trusts and estates, leases, property law, employment and toxic torts. He has significant experience in complex lawsuit discovery as well as oil and gas leases. His civil litigation experience includes e-discovery and document reviews pertaining to all aspects of the discovery process, from identification and retention to collection, processing, review, and post-production litigation support. Curt also devotes a substantial amount of time to probate court appointments. Experienced in negotiations, Curt represents clients through alternate dispute resolution means preceding and as an alternative to litigation. In addition to extensive courtroom practice, Curt has an appellate background.
A retired U.S. Air Force rated officer, Lt. Col. Schwake is knowledgeable in operations and regulations relating to emerging technologies such as drones, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, and Industry 4.0.
