Overview
Andy’s practice encompasses a wide variety of business and corporate disputes, but he has particular experience in the oil and gas, energy, finance, and real estate industries. Due to his broad experience, Andy is as comfortable and persuasive in front of mediators and arbitrators as he is before a judge and jury. Whether representing an individual or a Fortune 500 company, he strives to apply a simple philosophy: listen closely to the client’s goals and apply a practical strategy to most efficiently reach a positive result, whether that means negotiating a resolution or seeing a matter through to trial or appeal.
Outside the litigation arena, Andy drafts and negotiates financial transactions and helps clients form, organize, and fund new companies and ventures. Andy has also served as a certified mediator for other litigants. Regardless of the venue or nature of the representation, he gets the most satisfaction from delivering positive outcomes to clients caught in difficult or complicated situations.
Andy was born and raised in Conroe, Texas, and comes from a family of lawyers, including his father, who instilled in him that good lawyering means helping people by creating trusting relationships.
