Overview

Elizabeth is commercial litigator with experience appearing in state and federal courts in Kentucky and Texas.  A Kentucky native, Elizabeth started her legal career in the Louisville, Kentucky office of Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, where she handled a variety of complex litigation and appellate matters.  Elizabeth won multiple summary judgments in state court and secured a client’s release from imprisonment on motion to the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.  After her family received military orders to relocate to San Antonio, Elizabeth joined a local firm, Prichard Young LLP, where she handled a variety of business disputes and other matters in Texas state and federal courts.  With her spouse released from active duty, Elizabeth is happy to have permanently settled in Houston with her family.  

In addition to her law degree, Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and a master’s degree in education. Elizabeth taught high school mathematics in Louisville, Kentucky for several years before attending law school. During law school, Elizabeth completed an externship at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Kentucky, competed on the national moot court team, and was a member of law review. She graduated in the top 5% of her class, received several CALI Awards (for obtaining the highest grade in a particular course), and was especially honored to receive the Dean’s Book Award shortly before graduating.

Elizabeth’s litigation experience includes contract, business, personal injury, products and premises liability, real and personal property, landlord tenant, zoning, construction, education, and defamation matters.  She has represented both individual clients and business, ranging from local business to national corporations.  Elizabeth’s diverse background compliments her law practice, where Elizabeth prides herself on taking on any challenge to bring the best results to her clients. 

In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their dog.
