Jessica Palvino is an innovative and versatile attorney with experience representing clients throughout the United States. For more than ten years, Jessica’s practice focused exclusively on litigating cases in state and federal courts across the nation. In more recent years, her practice has broadened to include counseling clients about a wide range of employment law matters. Because of her background in litigation and significant trial experience, she often provides assessments on potential liability and risk mitigation strategies. She also co-spearheads McGinnis Lochridge's Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS/drone) practice and is active in the UAS/drone community, participating in upcoming panels. An entrepreneur at heart, Jessica is a board member of the Austin-based Thinkery, which she describes as "a foundry for a new generation of innovators and problem solvers."
Jessica received the Outstanding Young Lawyer Award from the Austin Bar Foundation and the Austin Bar Association (2015) and has been selected to the Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, a Thomson Reuters service, (2014-2017) and has been featured as one of six Texas attorneys in the Super Lawyer's Magazine Rising Stars 2016 edition. In 20015, Jessica was an integral member of the McGinnis Lochridge Products Liability Group which was named the Product Liability Litigation Department of the Year by Texas Lawyer.
Jessica regularly represents and advises employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws, including Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
