Andrew Edge’s practice focuses on civil litigation, particularly product liability litigation involving the pharmaceutical industry. He represents a diverse set of clients, including corporations and individuals, plaintiffs as well as defendants. Andrew Edge represents clients in both state and federal courts in a variety of matters, such as personal injury, product liability, premises liability, property rights and breach-of-contract suits.
Andrew is an integral member of the McGinnis Lochridge Products Liability Group which was named the 2015 Product Liability Litigation Department of the Year by Texas Lawyer.
Prior to joining the firm, Andrew served as a law clerk for the Hon. R. Gary Klausner in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Andrew has assisted in the representation of individuals seriously injured by BOTOX®, obtaining multiple settlements. In the course of this representation, Andrew has appeared in federal and state courts in Oklahoma, California, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
Representing a leading space transport company facing prosecution and potential civil liability for noise generated at a testing site. Andrew advised on Texas civil nuisance law, Texas public nuisance and noise control regulation, and federal preemption under the government contractor doctrine.
Representing a historic Texas theater in an action to enforce the client’s easement and defend against a nuisance counterclaim filed by an adjoining landowner.
Representing a commercial landlord in unlawful detainer proceedings in a Texas Justice Court, obtaining a writ of possession as well as judgment for attorneys’ fees and costs.
